Serenic Corporation is very pleased to be one of Microsoft’s first Embedded Independent
Solutions Vendors (ISV). This designation indicates that the following solutions
for your organizational needs are tested and/or certified by Microsoft as quality
additions to their Dynamics NAV library of products:
- Serenic Navigator Fund Accounting for Not-For-Profits (NGO’s)
- Serenic Navigator Fund Accounting for Government
- Serenic Human Capital Management for Dynamics NAV
Learn how Serenic's certification by Microsoft gives the Navigator suite
efficiency, consistency, and reliability; thereby helping nonprofits and other
organizations manage finances and pursue their mission.
History:
2007
In 2007 Serenic was awarded a top honor from Microsoft - Microsoft's 2007 Industry
Solutions Vendor of the Year. Also Serenic earned "Certified for Microsoft Dynamics"
which was a new program designed to help customers identify the top 500 ISV solutions
that meet the highly specialized needs of particular industries. In addition to
these awards, Serenic was named to the eliteMicrosoft Dynamics Inner Circle and
President's Club.
2007 was a year of constant innovation. Releasing in 2007 was a series
of operational software solutions which are all fully integrated with Navigator:
AwardVision (grant management), CommunityCare (consumer services and sheltered workshops),
MinistryView (mission and outreach program management), and Portals (web-based data
access).
In addition to the awards and solutions released, Serenic Navigator and its product
suite was selected by pioneers and leaders in the nonprofit and NGO space: CARE,
Family Health International, Joyce Meyer Ministries, and Medair.

2006
In 2006 Microsoft Dynamics began an Embedded ISV program to help those ISVs with
total solutions for their vertically focused markets with license and pricing support
to help better serve their industries. As a trusted partner with a nationally recognized
solution in Fund Accounting, Serenic became a natural selection for Microsoft, and
happily this corporation was selected as one of the first 10 partners world-wide
to be inducted into the Embedded ISV program.
Also in 2006, the 5-year exclusivity on Human Resources and Payroll products came
to a conclusion. Serenic Corporation acting on behalf of its subsidiary, VisionPay,
reached a new agreement with Microsoft whereby all rights and responsibilities of
the Human Resources and Payroll products reverted to VisionPay (now known as Serenic
Canada). Almost 100 partners around North America signed new agreements to purchase
HR and Payroll through Serenic. In return Serenic has committed to a continuation
of product enhancements and growth, including the annual tax updates so important
to end-users.

2005
Microsoft elects a name change for its financial management software lines to Microsoft
Dynamics with abbreviations for each of the solutions it had previously published.
Contrary to popular belief, the name change did NOT indicate a software preference,
but simply made a better word for the world community that Microsoft had been targeting
– Dynamics. The products produced by Serenic fall under the Dynamics NAV umbrella.
Also in 2005, Microsoft announced that Dynamics NAV had achieved the ambitious notation
that there were at that time one million Dynamics NAV users around the world.

2002
The alliance with Microsoft began with the software giant’s purchase of Danish software
publisher, Navision a/s in 2002 for $1.45 billion (US). This acquisition doubled
Microsoft’s business software market penetration following as it did the prior acquisition
of Great Plains Software for $1.1 billion (US) before that. With all these packages
under one roof the offerings together became known as Microsoft Business Solutions
with independent designations as follows:
- MBS Great Plains
- MBS Navision
- MBS Solomon
- MBS Axapta
2001
Navision partner VisionPay of Edmonton, Alberta entered into a business arrangement
whereby VisionPay was granted exclusive rights for a 5-year minimum period to develop
and market the advanced payroll and human resources software components of Navision
financial software applications.
2000
Serenic developed and released the first version of Navigator, with the name "Fund
Accounting for Navision."
1999
Serenic Software, Inc. was founded as a Navision Solution Center.
Looking Ahead
Serenic continues to have a strong relationship with Microsoft, and 2008 should
prove no exception. We are working on several opportunities together which we intend
to disclose as appropriate. Most importantly, please keep checking the Press Room
of this web-site for up-to-date information on product releases, key sales and other
